Jinong Soil Laboratory

The laboratory includes: immersion bulk density test, soil pH adjustment test, fertilizer pH adjustment test, and soil water retention test

1. Immersion bulk density experiment

The soil immersion bulk density method is a scientific method that characterizes soil compaction and structural characteristics in the laboratory. The higher the soil layer height after the experiment, the more soil aggregate structure there is, the more fluffy the soil is, and the better the soil improvement effect.

Using Jinong Letu, a high concentration liquid humic acid product from Jinong, as well as high content humic acid products (physical and biochemical methods) that are popular in the domestic market, as well as water and soil from different regions, water immersion bulk density experiments were conducted to observe the effect of different humic acid products on soil immersion bulk density.

There are four treatments in the experiment, namely Jinong High Concentration Liquid Humic Acid Product (Jinong Letu), Other Humic Acid Product 1 (Physical Method), Other Humic Acid Product 2 (Biochemical Method), and Clear Water Control. Randomly add an equal amount (80 milliliters) of diluted solution (300 times) of each prepared product to a test tube containing an equal amount (30 grams) of soil sample. Shake the tube up and down to fully immerse the soil sample in water, then shake the tube for 2 minutes to mix the soil sample and solution evenly. Finally, let the test tube stand and observe the height of the soil layer.

The experimental results show that Jinong's high concentration liquid humic acid product (Jinong Letu) can significantly fluff the soil, reduce soil bulk density, and improve soil structure.

2. Soil Acid and Alkali Adjustment Experiments

Using high concentration liquid humic acid products from Jinong (Jinong Letu) and popular high content humic acid products in the domestic market (physical and biochemical methods), representative acidic soils (soil from Hefei, Anhui and Xuwen, Guangdong) and alkaline soils (soil from Aksu, Xinjiang) were selected.

There are three treatments in the experiment, namely high concentration liquid humic acid product (Jinong Letu), other humic acid product 1 (physical method), and other humic acid product 2 (biochemical method). Take 1 milliliter of each processed product and add it to a 300 gram (1:5) soil sample solution. Use a handheld pH meter to detect the pH value of soil solutions before and after adding each treatment product, and observe the changes in pH value.

The experimental results show that Jinong's high concentration liquid humic acid product (Jinong Letu) can bi-directional regulate soil acidity and alkalinity, making acidic and alkaline soils adjust their acidity and alkalinity to tend towards neutrality.

3. Water soluble fertilizer acid regulation experiment

We mixed Jinong's high concentration liquid humic acid product (Jinong Letu) with representative high nitrogen, high potassium, and equilibrium samples of water-soluble fertilizers in the domestic market, and observed its effect on the pH of the dilution solution for a large amount of elements.

 There are three treatments in the experiment, namely high concentration liquid humic acid product (Jinong Letu), other humic acid product 1 (physical method), and other humic acid product 2 (biochemical method). Take 1 milliliter of each processed sample and randomly add it to 250 milliliters (250 times) of an equal amount of water-soluble fertilizer. Stir well. Use a handheld pH meter to measure the pH of the diluent before and after adding each processed product, and observe the changes in pH value.

The experimental results show that the application of high concentration liquid humic acid products from Jinong (Jinong Letu) in combination with a large amount of water-soluble fertilizers can adjust the acidity and alkalinity of the fertilizer to tend towards neutrality.

4. Soil water retention experiment

We conducted soil water retention experiments using Jinong Letu, a high concentration liquid humic acid product from Jinong, as well as hot selling high content humic acid products (physical method) and clean water in the domestic market, to observe the effects of different humic acid products on soil water retention.

There are three treatments in the experiment, which are using Jinong high concentration liquid humic acid product (Jinong Letu), other humic acid product No.1 (physical method), and water to prepare a (300 times) dilution solution. Randomly pour an equal amount of (250 milliliters) dilution solution into a flowerpot containing an equal amount of soil sample (380 grams), observe the liquid infiltration in each flowerpot, record the time when the liquid starts to drip and the amount of liquid dropped, If the liquid starts to drip later and the amount of liquid dropped is less, it reflects good soil water retention.

The experimental results show that Jinong's high concentration liquid humic acid product (Jinong Letu) can effectively improve soil water retention.
